Programm - Television Production

The MA in Television Production is a one-year full-time course. The course is predominantly practical, and concentrates on the development of professional production skills, techniques and attitudes. Considerable emphasis is placed on research and organisational skills combined with operational skills and techniques. Intensive practical modules in camerawork, lighting and digital editing plus studio practices rapidly bring the student up to broadcast standards. The course encourages and supports students to undertake a period of work experience towards the end of their programme. Placements have been undertaken with Granada Television and BBC North in Manchester and within the independent production sector.
