The institute is accredited by the SUC (Swiss University Conference) and 30 kilometres from Bern in one of Switzerland’s leading educational centres, the University of Fribourg. The University, established in 1889, remains the only bilingual university in Switzerland where French and German cultures meet. It offers a wide selection of training programmes in an environment of active research. The iimt is part of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences and collaborates closely with other faculties, universities and higher education centres in Switzerland and internationally.
