The programme aims to meet the requirements of Clinical Governance, Primary Care Trusts and the Knowledge and Skills Framework (2004). Students are expected to supervise and encourage development within others, through motivating and supporting change, and by creating an environment in which clinical practice development is fostered, evaluated and disseminated. The programme aims to provide a dynamic and quality educational experience that will be instrumental in changing and developing practice, and in producing practitioners who will be leaders of the profession.
