Creative and Critical Writing
Praxisbezug
The MA in Creative and Critical Writing aims to prepare its students not only to write better prose or poetry, but also to acquire the expressive skills to disseminate their practice in diverse contexts where they will need to use language for a range of communicative and interpretative ends. The programme, in its exploration of literary history, criticism and theory, always aims primarily to open avenues and opportunities for the creative writer. The emphasis is always practical, the programme helping students to create significant portfolios of original work by the time they have completed their studies.
