M.Sc. in Computer Science
Programm
The M.Sc. in Computer Science program offers research-oriented education and training at Master's level in computer science as a consecutive program that builds on the B.Sc. in Information Technology program at IU or a bachelor's degree in computer science obtained from another university.
The M.Sc. program is designed as a four-trimester 16 months program. It is designed in the way that the main aim of the students is to complete a sound M.Sc. thesis. Course-based modules can be seen as a component in the program that enables students to widen and deepen their knowledge and skills to enrich their thesis project. Apart from the research-based components in the course-based modules, the thesis and Seminar in Intelligent Interaction and Communication I & II, during which students participate in research projects of faculty members, offer full research opportunities.
