This course introduces aspiring and current managers to a range of business disciplines that will enhance your knowledge, skills and practice as managers. Graduates from a variety of disciplines will acquire an understanding of the theory and practice of managerial work and the course will provide you with insights into general management and business strategy. The course is intended for recent graduates who are seeking to enter the job market with an improved ability to manage effectively. For current managers, the course is an opportunity for professional updating and an introduction to the latest developments in management theory and practice.

The course is supported by a number of academic staff who have research and consulting interests in this field. Professional and Research Fellows who work through the Management Research Centre and the Centre for Equality Research in Business play an active part in the teaching and dissertation supervision.
