This qualification may be taken on a stand-alone basis or as a preliminary to a PhD. In the latter case, it would be part of the ESRC 1+3 model for a doctoral programme.
In either role, stand-alone or 1+3, the content of the new degree carefully observes ESRC research training requirements. This means that, from within the context of Management Research, it seeks to develop important transferable skills useful to your future professional life.
