Information Engineering is an innovative interdisciplinary field that plays a crucial role in the context of our modern networked information society. IE provides methods and tools to support the whole information supply chain in enterprises. It prepares for a challenging career in the telecommunication sector, in the information departments of financial institutes or e.g. as a consultant in the field of e-business. Beside the classical management skills (Finance, Accounting, Quality and Project Management) the program focus on approved methods and tools to support the complete information supply chain in all kind of organizations. Additionally the program deals with the whole life cycle of information products and provides appropriate supporting techniques.
