Cranfield School of Management, located about 75 km north-west of London in the UK, is one of Europe’s leading university management schools. It is part of Cranfield University, renowned for its high quality postgraduate teaching and research and its strong links to industry and business. Management education and development has been offered at Cranfield University since the late 1940s and the School of Management was formally set up in 1967.

The course has been specifically designed to meet the needs of managers from all over the world who wish to gain a professional qualification whilst continuing their full-time employment.
It will normally take you two years to complete the course, which is built around nine, one-week intensive module dates held at Cranfield. Six of these are core modules and provide you with a thorough understanding of the theory and practice of logistics and supply chain management. In year one you will take five of these core modules. In year two you will take the sixth core module. If you wish, you can take Modules Two, Three and Five on three separate Fridays before re-joining the five day modules for the Thursday and Friday.
In year two, in addition to the one remaining core module, you will also be able to specialise by choosing from a number of optional subjects, which comprise two further one-week residential modules. On successful completion of these modules you will gain a PgDip. To be awarded a MSc you must undertake the thesis which is an individual project of your own choice most likely related directly to your job. You will also undertake a major individual project on a subject of your own choice, most likely related directly to your job. The fourth and final module in your second year will be devoted to the development of your project.
