Schwerpunkte / Curriculum - East Asian Management

The EAM curriculum consists of two main components:
1. Core courses in international management, economics and quantitative methods, cross-cultural and human resource management, finance, operations and project management, law and taxation.
2. Mandatory elective courses in area studies and language training either with focus on China, India, Japan or Korea. Students have to choose one country focus upon their application to the program.
In each of the four semesters there is one module dedicated to the area studies and one to the language of the respective region (Chinese, Hindi, Japanese or Korean).
The remaining two modules in the first semester are Introduction to International Management and People and Management. In the second semester, one module about Finance and Management and one dealing with the Business Environment are broadening the curriculum. The third semester includes two modules about International Business Law and Taxes and International Operations and Project Management. In the fourth semester a 60 hour Master Seminar is scheduled for an exchange of thoughts between tutor and students while writing the Master´s Thesis.
