Creative and Cultural Management
Programm
This is a one-year full-time, or two or three year part-time, modular programme leading to the award of MA in Creative and Cultural Management. The course starts from the belief that management is an inherently creative discipline. We think of creative and cultural managers as people who, in many different ways, connect artists with audiences. They work within a growing sector of the economy: the Department for Culture, Media and Sport defines the creative and cultural industries as including advertising, architecture, the art and antiques market, crafts, design, designer fashion, film and video, interactive leisure software, music, the performing arts, publishing, software and computer games, television and radio. Creative and cultural managers ensure that artists receive proper support for their work, and that the public has access to the widest possible range of work in appropriate settings.
