Berufsfeld / Zielpublikum - Cognitive Behavioural Therapies - Adult and Child/Adolescent Pathways

Applicants will have:
- A core professional training and at least 18 months post qualification experience (some
exceptions are permissible and need to be discussed with the programme leader)
- A current practice setting where their predominant therapy practice is CBT
- A minimum of one day a week in face to face CBT practice
- Completed some basic skills training in CBT (equivalent to a three-day workshop)
- Evidence of ongoing CPD in relation to CBT
- A current BABCP accredited or accreditable practitioner who can provide a current
supervisor's reference for the applicant's CBT skills
- A good science based degree (minimum of lower second class honours) or a core
professional training with research training experience
- External practice setting supervision arrangements in place, with a minimum of one hour
per month for specific CBT supervision
- A level of practice that would enable them to complete at least eight therapy cases over
the duration of the diploma (two years)
- A placement setting that will allow audio/video recording of client work to be assessed in
an academic setting.
