Sunderland Business School continuously seeks to provide the highest quality standards in higher education, a fact which was reflected by our Law area's achievement of 19th position in the 2004 Guardian poll, out of more than 100 universities, despite being only five years old. In addition, our Law degrees were accredited by the Law Society in March 2005 and our courses have received commendations from the Society, confirming that the School does indeed deliver "best practice" for its students.

We are responsible for teaching and learning, for academic development and research - and for working with partners in business and industry. Our corporate business base continues to grow and we are strongly committed to these business relationships both in the UK and abroad. We are proud of our developing partnerships with organisations like Royal Sun Alliance, Nissan, Job Centre Plus and the NHS here in the UK and will continue to build this key area of the School.
