The School has provided courses in management since 1989 and both the full time and distance learning MBA are accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA).
We are the second largest provider of Distance Learning Education in the UK. The Independent refers to the School of Management in the following terms: "One of Europe's largest management schools with a big emphasis on teaching and research." (The Independent 13th May 2005).

The School of Management provides postgraduate and undergraduate programmes in Management. In addition to our AMBA accredited MBA, we offer a range of postgraduate (MSc Finance, MSc Management, MSc Research and MSc Marketing) and undergraduate courses (BA in Management Studies, Diploma in Management Learning). Many of our programmes can be studied flexibly through supported distance learning.
