The Higher Education Funding Council of England and Wales gives our business and management teaching the highest rating of ‘excellent’. The Cass MBA is recognised and accredited by both the Association of MBAs (AMBA) and the European Quality Improvement Scheme (EQUIS).
# Research:
Cass undertakes research of national and international significance and supports almost 100 PhD students. Our PhD programme is ranked 16th in the world (Financial Times 2003). Our finance faculty, the largest in Europe, produces research which is ranked second in Europe. Our actuarial faculty produces the leading research into insurance and risk ranked second in the world.

# New Executive MBA:
In February 2003 an Executive MBA began in collaboration with SUFE (Shanghai University of Finance and Economics) and sponsored by the Bank of China. This is a modular programme with Cass Professors delivering the programme in Shanghai.
# The School offers extensive executive education programmes for senior management through Cass Executive Education.
# Cass Business School (Sir John Cass Business School, City of London) is part of City University. It was formerly known as City University Business School but changed its name in August 2002 following a substantial donation from the Sir John Cass Foundation, a leading educational charity.
